Since 1998, Destination Marketing Hawaii's goal of representing top U.S. and international publications for advertising sales throughout the state of Hawaii has grown from handling three publications to a portfolio of 30+ media partners around the world, including Forbes, Los Angeles Magazine, and the largest travel trade title, Travel Weekly.
Justin Nakaahiki, Managing Director
A 20 year veteran in advertising, marketing and sales, Justin most recently spent a decade in the tourism and travel industry with Aqua-Aston Hospitality successfully directing the branding, customer marketing programs and advertising strategy for both consumer and trade audiences. During his tenure at Aqua-Aston, he was charged with executing successful integrated marketing strategies and programs that positively impacted revenue generating distribution channels at the company's portfolio property locations throughout the Hawaiian Islands, continental U.S. and Central America.
Prior to the hospitality industry Justin held several account service roles at a Honolulu-based advertising agency, as well as an advertising production and graphics design role for a national retailer's Hawaii division. Justin is a graduate from the University of Hawaii with a BBA in Marketing.
In his free time, Justin enjoys great food and good company at Oahu's fantastic dining options or spending time with family back home on Kauai.
